Botanical Sketchbooking in Graphite for Mindfulness

Overview

Join me in the George Mackay memorial garden for a mindful two-hour workshop in keeping a botanical sketchbook.

We will use the collection of shrubs in the George Mackay Brown memorial garden, to help establish the practice of how to keep a sketchbook to perpetually record the plants that surround you, in graphite taking an increasingly detailed look at your surroundings.

All drawing materials are included in the price and will be yours to take away after the workshop. I hope that after the workshop you will be inspired to keep filing your sketchbook with the natural surrounding you enter in your day to day life.

The garden is accessible to all. Adults only due to the concrentrated period of sitting required.

The workshop will involve concentrated period of sitting, so please keep this in mind when booking.
